How should one monitor stocks in their portfolio? What frequency?

Was reading a blog by Dr. Vijay Malik and here are his pointers (quoted):

1. "Important" news about the companies & the industry. Corporate announcements about insider trading and other related matters

2. Financial results - see quarterly but don't make conclusions every qtr.

3. Shareholding changes including the pledge of promoter’s shares.

4. Annual report of the company.

5. The credit rating of the company

Taking stock:

Pt. 1,2,3 are available on Multipie.

For Pt. 4, have shared an annual report tracker.

For 5, I use Screener and we might add to links for each on company description page.

If I were add 6, it would be community feedback and discussion with real investors. That's understated.
