I think I know the reason..
A cousin who passed out from an average engineering college in Kolkata joined a mid sized IT firm for 8 LPA Salary, after a year he switched for a Japanese IT Company for a salary of 20 LPA... Wait Wait that is not the end...
Mid year he has offers from Swiggy and Amazon for some crazy amounts, he bargained and then joined one of them for a humongous 42 LPA Salary.
All of 25 years of age, 2 plus years of Work Experience and a salary which no IT Gaint will look to match.
Margin pressure and high attrition can be attributed to this phenomena happening around..
